GamePro gave FEAR 2 a 4/5, but it was in my actual magazine, I don't think it's online (yet).

I know, the whole thing was a complete load of bullshit. Giving false information among it all. They call themselves reviewers? I don't. Sure, they're entitled to their opinion, but false information is not opinion, just shit.
You watch when they give Resident Evil 5 a 10/10 and not even mention that pretty much nothing has changed from Resident Evil 4. This is what I hate the most. F.E.A.R. 2 gets slated for being unoriginal, but Resi 5, which is even more unoriginal, does not, in fact it gets praised for being the same (READ: Very Similar) as its predecessor. Reviewers always contradict their own opinions just because one game is more hyped than the other, that should not be taken into consideration.
Eurogamer should have tried playing the game for more than 5 minutes after reading what they said.

lol That's what they said about Killzone 2. "It doesn't bring anything new or innovative to the table but it polishes everything else so well" then they went on to praise the turret and mech parts, which were bashed for being there in FEAR 2.

The Euro gamer = a piece of shit.He couldn't even do the review right. F.E.A.R. 2 may not be a 10 but its damn well no 5 or 6. 7 would of been a realistic rating.Tell me why hasn't he been fired for failing at his job???Did he even actually play it???Rule 1 your a fucking Delta, Seriously its like he was payed to not even give FEAR A chance, he probably just assumed off the 2 expansions.Its funny how he bitches about bots, The fact is I haven't seen a BOT in Multiplayer since CSS.So him claiming about BOTS hurt multi is bullshit since their hasn't been a bot 4 the longest time (in these types of Multiplayer games).Seriously someone needs to fire him

The Eurogamer author must be a closet Lego-wars fanatic. Maybe he confused FEAR 2 with Scene it or Uno online. Both of those games have kicks excluded.

LOL If they actually confused that stuff, they have had to on acid lol Seriously, Not 1 time in that review, did I see anything that talked about the improvements, or how the new world looks or how Alma was upgraded. Alma 2.0 ftw

Gamespy Review - 4/5

I'm extremely curious to see how gamers react to F.E.A.R. 2. Personally, I felt the first game was somewhat unappreciated, and maybe Monolith agreed, opting to churn out a near-identical game with hopes of getting more attention this time around. For shooter fans, the combat is still outstanding, and you'll get a great eight hours or so by the time you reach your final encounter with Alma, although fans of the first game may feel like they've done this before. In many ways, F.E.A.R. 2 feels like the middle chapter in a trilogy, and there's certainly enough momentum here for at least one more run.
