What is the best weapon in F.E.A.R. 2 ?

Hmm...well I like the Combat Shotgun I think like the first F.E.A.R., but only just. I also like the SMG and Assault Rifle, but all the weapons are cool in some way. This is for SP, since I have not played MP yet.

They are all good. But my favorite weopon was the Shotty from the first game

Shotgun from F.E.A.R.

Assault Rifle from F.E.A.R. 2, although it only beats the SMG because you stop getting that weapon after  entering the Paragon Facility.

You know the more I play the more i do feel like it seem's that every weapon has it's pro's and con's.Each one just as good as the other.So it is getting harder to say what weapon really is the best.Maybe it's more like "what weapon works best for you"For me it's the asp.

The semi auto is the best hands down....hold limited amount of bullets per round so you have to master blasting and getting out of there to reload without dying and another thing is if you can get a head shot or kill 2 or 3 people at the other side of the map scoped in..thats skill. In mp I use the Assault Rifle and it really helps. The ASP while good I find it to be kinda chaap at times. All you have to do is land all the first burst or part of the second and your home free. Its really frustrating. Its a good gun..but come on. I wasp laying a map last night (the one wih the warehouse in the midle) and they kept holding the warehouse. OF course some jerk with the asp was camping in the scalfolding. So I run up place a mine on the boards connecting th 2 buildings. I cap the camper. My team moves in we take the warehouse. Since our scores are like 5-10 away. It was really hard to hold it but we did. They kept moving in but we held them back. It was probably the most fun I have had ever on a online game. It was awesome!
